In 2001, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver felt the need to respond to the educational crisis our community was experiencing.

The Hispanic Chamber developed a 501(c) 3 organization to address those needs and the Hispanic Chamber Foundation was born.

Since then, the Hispanic Chamber Foundation has been a sister organization to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. 2009 was a year of change for the Hispanic Chamber Foundation. Board members began to evaluate the mission and vision of the organization and a task force was created to further develop the Foundation.

The task force presented a solution to the board of directors of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which included the reorganization of the Hispanic Chamber Foundation. Changes included creating a board of directors separate from the Hispanic Chamber.

The Foundation board dedicates its time and energy to the development of the Hispanic Chamber Foundation’s mission with a goal of advancing the Hispanic community via programming, services and resources.

Today, the Hispanic Chamber Foundation has begun to fulfill its role as a community organization, while continuing to complement the mission and vision of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Denver.
